I find it funny that my parents always have to be fighting with each other, or they have to fight with me. It's just not a "normal" household if they aren't screaming at the fucking tops of their lungs at eachother. If they aren't doing that, they get along in fighting with me when the only thing I did was try and calm them down so Tyler doesn't have to hear them fighting constantly. I've had to deal with their immature verbal abuse since I can physiologically remember. I just wish they would finally break up so they can be "better" people. Most children want their parents to stay together - I don't. I wish they would just fucking get a divorce so I don't have to live in a house of stupid chaos and their fucking squabbiling all the fucking time. My mum blames her staying with my dad because of her "marital vows" and her "promise to God". Well next time don't promise God something that is going to make your kids lives fucking miserable.
My mum came up to me asking not to put my music on because it's "nice to have quite for a change." I wanted to say so badly,"because screaming at eachother is quiet for this house right?". But I refrained for my sake. She looked at me and said, "If you're smart you'd keep shut." and then proceeded to tell me, " If you were in my shoes, you'd do the same thing." Yes mum, because I would just love to fighting with a spouse I don't love, keep making my children miserable and constantly talking shit about my spouse to my children. Yeah..that sounds just dandy.
