At school recently, and in the city, there has been a huge uproar about the book, The Bluest Eye. Personally I think the book should be allowed to be taught to sophmores in high school. I don't understand why so many people, including my own church, are so against this award winning book. That is why I am proudly wearing my new and shiny pin that reads, " Everything I needed to know about life I've learned by reading banned books." I was on fire about it yesterday, but now I have found my opinion useless and I shall just talk about what I know, rather than insert my foot into my mouth at a later time.
This weekend was truely fun. I love Tanu and we had a blast. I was thinking of something very neat and thought provoking down. But at school my mind has seemed to have gone numb and I couldn't pull out a decent thought if my life depended on it.
My mum has gone to Santa Monica because my grandpa is in the hospital. My Grandma needs my mum and she will be gone for how long, I don't know. All I know is that I hope everything turns out ok.
Also for some reason sun-shower.net's server has taken a shit, so why my layout isn't working is because of them. I'm going to work on the layout all day when I get home.
