Oh..My..God. Last night was fucking unbelievable. One of the best nights I've had in a loooong time.
When I got to The Dome (sporting my newly cut up shirt that Katie had done for me) I was walking around aimlessly trying to find Andy. I eventually found him, I had never met him in person before, so I had NO idea who the hell I was looking for. He looks a lot like my friend Ralph and my other friend Sam. He's a lot cuter than Amanda had given him credit for. But we met up and we talked for a bit. But on the other side of Andy was someone waving at me. I thought it was another one of the staffers, like Josh perhaps, but it turned out to be a girl I know's ex boyfriend, *****(name has been changed so I don't get in trouble for later actions). He looked a bit different but he was still the cutie he was, I went over to him, said "Hi" and we started talking. But after about 10 mins of talking in line, Andy pulled me off to the side and said it was time for the interview with Adema.
I was a little unnerved because it WAS my first interview ever, but other than the shock of me actually interviewing a VERY well known band, I was perfectly fine. Doug, Andy's bro, walked us into the back, and there he was, Marky from Adema. He asked us to sit down and wait while he made his phone calls. After about 5 mins he asked us to come into his little room and cleared off his chair for me to sit down. Andy sat next to me and me and Marky just got into a big conversation. It was the most awesome thing ever. We talked for at least 15 to 20 mins. After we finished I asked him for an autograph and a picture - he was the sweetest guy ever and I was really surprised, I thought he may have been an asshole but it was the complete opposite - a very sweet guy who gives really good hugs. I would have asked him for a beer, because there was a huge tub full of them, but he might have gotten in trouble if I had a beer and walked out with it. I looked around 18 or 19, maybe why he offered me a cig, but not 21. I wasn't looking the greatest. I'll put up the pictures as soon as i get them developed.
After the interview we got back in line and I snatched *****'s coat because I was freezing my boobs off. We got to talking more and we went inside. We were at the front of the stage but Andy had to run off and go get something and I never saw him after that. So I walked over to where ***** was, a little bit to the left of where Andy was and I just stayed with him the entire night. It was a really good concert, except the transition time was horrific, but every band was on time. The bands went from ok (My Beautiful Secret) to good ( Level ) to fucking good (abloom) to fucking awesome(Adema). I really enjoyed Abloom, which consisted of the members from One Side Zero and Soulfly. They were really good, and the drummer was the hottest guy ever. I got his drumstick as well. Well, ***** caught it and I begged him for it..so he gave it to me because he already had the Level drumstick. During Adema it got REALLY rowdy and people were pushing and shoving and becoming stupid. I mean I love to mosh and shit, but when you are moshing in a non moshing zone and shoving your way to the front..fuck that shit. I elbowed this guy in the back about 20 times because his dumbass wouldn't get off my feet. He was way to old to even be at a concert..plus he was drunk. But something else happened at the concert that probablly shouldn't have happened went on between me and my friend's ex. It was harmless though, we just held hands and played touchy feely watch the concert stuff. He had his arms around my waist the entire time Adema was on though. But we didn't kiss or anything. Most I got was a hug!
But by the end of the night, I was sweaty, tired and ready to go home. I booked it out of the Dome and called my mom. ***** came looking for me to say "bye" and that we'd "go hang out some time". So that's how my night went. And tonight is going to be great. It's finally Katie's party today! Time to get drunk and go kick it with my girls. I'll spill everything that happened on the blog tomorrow, it's time for me to go get ready.
